FAITH STATEMENT

 

Impact Missions empowers, equips and strengthens the impoverished with the ability to serve their communities, enabling them to act as beacons of hope to their own people, and to spread the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Christ-centered, grassroots initiatives tackle entrenched and intertwined problems of poverty- and people experience transformation in their lives, their families, their churches, and in their communities.

Impact Missions places communities at the center of our projects- in the belief that only through strong communities can the impoverished feed themselves, develop and manage their natural resources, provide education, address their needs and achieve economic well-being.

Transformation

 

Individuals and communities experience comprehensive and holistic transformation when the redemptive power of Jesus Christ works in and through the local community to bring both spiritual and practical change.

 

 

Empowerment

 

Empowerment occurs when local communities, leaders, and individuals, are equipped with the tools necessary to help themselves. We seek to empower the communites by sharing our faith in Christ and facilitating the transfer of how-to knowledge that address their practical needs.

 

 

Sustainability

 

Creating locally sustainable projects and programs are an absolute to a lasting Impact. We are therefore focused on a "bottom up" approach, rather than "top down".
